- Tony... Now that's what we're talking about... 2nd place that was almost a 1st! We knew you were right on the brink of getting a win! Just wanted to say congratulations and wish you the best this weekend. Forgot to ask, in Worcester, if you got the note (and check) we sent to the management company for you. Want to be sure you get it. Ask them if you haven't seen it yet. Sorry we won't be in Albany but we will see you in Vegas and hopefully before (in Mohegan Sun) !!! Ride Safe. By Al & Suzan Gotch From East Hampton, CT
- "Thanks, I needed that... Give me a call when you can. I dont know about the note...801-440-9447 or 801-664-4662"
- Actually it isn't a question. I am an artist and recently finished a painting of you. A photo of it is posted on my web site, www.budrudesill.com By way of further introduction, I had a brief converstion with you at Greensboro in the dinning room at breakfast the morning after. I'm the one from Northern California.

- "Wow! My fiancee and I just looked at the picture of your website and the picture of me is way to COOL! What can we do to get a copy of this. Also, in the 2008 season I am going to be working with breast cancer awareness. We were wondering if you could possibly paint a picture of that (being as though I wear the breast cancer ribbon on my chaps now) and sell that to donate to the breast cancer research or awareness. Let me know if this would be possible. Thanks for the attention and time that you put into the painting I feel honored that you selected me. Keep in touch....."
- Hi! My hubby and I are fans of bull riding and I really enjoy watching you ride. I also enjoyed seeing you on the Power of 10 wishing you had gone farther. I was surprised no didn't elaborate more on the bull riding, but I think bull riding is still not widely enough recognized. I think Drew Carey was clueless. At any rate, you are one of my favorite riders. I noticed your chaps with the pink ribbon. I am a cancer survivor (endometrial) and seeing your support for breast cancer means a lot. God bless you and your family. KatherineBy Katherine Johnson From Elmwood, IL

- "good luck...."
- how frustrating is it when they cant see you didnt call for that bull?? you are the first bull rider i noticed when i started watchin the sport a couple of years. glad you will make finals. You are raising bulls??By janet From louisville, KY
- "It is really frustrating when stupid calls like this happen. I am out here working to support my family and then some yahoo makes a blatant and ignorant call that totally goes against the rule book, costing me a stronger finish in Grand Rapids. I am raising some bucking stock and taking them to shows. Keeps me really busy! Thank you for your support!"
- why did they open the gate on you when you didnt even call for it?By dillon yates From polk city, FL
- "I have no answer for you. Ask Cody Custer by emailing the PBR... he would not allow the re-ride and he should have. I think it is something personal he and his brother has against me because there is absolutely no reason why I should not have gotten a re-ride. Custer is supposed to unbiased and fair - making his decisions by the way the rules define the sports... if he is going to continue making calls like that... the PBR should fire him."
- Tony:
I really enjoy watching you ride. I am unhappy when I see you get hurt. I am interested in becoming a bull owner and would love to come to your ranch and visit with you about this. If we could work out somethung when you are not on tour.
Thanks,
WayneBy Wayne From Pleasant Grove, UT

Tony Mendes" - what are some ways to help me get out of the slump i am in right now with my bull riding? and why was it that you took a year off the BFTS?By Nick Reynolds From Anna, IL
- "Nick,
Thank you for your email! I took time off in order to heal from injuries I had sustained while riding (knee & groin). The time off also allowed me spend quality time with my family. You will always go thru highs & lows while riding bulls. Try to stay focused and concentrate on each ride. Build on each success you achieve, no matter how small. Learn from your mistakes, then put them behind you. Each ride is a new ride and a chance to break the slump. Stay positive and ride hard! I know you have it in you!
Tony Mendes" - Tony, I would love to get an autographed 8x10 color photo of you riding... will they be available in your store? RickBy Rick Dunlap From Greensboro, NC
- "Rick,
We are working on that as we speak. I teamed up with Diamond 3 Sports Management out of Saint Louis, Missouri to help me get things together so that I may offer more to fans like you! We will be adding some pretty exciting new things to the website in the weeks to come - like a new Fan Club, Birthday Club for Kids and some other exciting things! We will also be making some big announcements! We are in the process of printing new autograph cards and they should be available in a few days. Please send a self addressed stamped envelope to: Diamond 3 Sports Management - 710 North 2nd Street - Suite 200 South - Saint Louis, Missouri 63102
Thank you for taking the time to email me. I appreciate your patience during the time it has taken for me to get back you!
Respectfully,
Tony Mendes"
